Maya is a sweet one year old dog in desperately need of someone to love.

The caring folks at Green Tree Animal Hospital are currently taking wonderful care of her, but it's not the same as having your own home and family.

For a young dog, Maya hasn't had an easy time. Her family allowed her to run loose. When she got hit by a car and broke her leg, they opted to euthanize her rather pay her vet bills!

Green Tree wouldn't allow that to happen. Instead, they took ownership of Maya. They treated her leg, brought her up to date on vaccines, and even spayed her.

Now, Maya's healthy and rarin' to start her new life. She'll need obedience training, of course, and a fenced yard to curb her wandering ways. Other that that, there's just one thing missing: someone to love!
