Happy Tails of 2009

Payton Jersey Buddy Murdock

First, let's celebrate the Happy Tails from 2009, those success stories of which we are so very grateful for. Not all of these pitbulls officially came into our rescue family, but we were fortunate enough to partner with others as another resource in helping unite them with their forever homes. Here's a peek at just a few of our Happy Tails.

Payton fans beware...he is no longer available! That's right, Payton found his forever home and boy did he ever land in a great place! Payton, like Jersey, was adopted as a puppy and returned when his family didn't want Payton to be a part of their life's next step. But don't be sad, Payton now has a doting Mom, a proud Dad and doggie family members to hang with when he goes with his family to their summer home. Check out Payton's Happy Tail.

Wriggs came to us as a puppy with a broken leg. What happened to his leg, you ask? Simple, his owner was trying to make him mean by causing him pain. Well, that didn't fare well with us once we found out. Needless to say, we grabbed that beautiful puppy up and Wriggs went directly into an amazing new home where he is loved and cherished!

Jersey was an owner give-up. Actually, she was adopted out from us as a puppy, but sadly was returned to us by her family. They couldn't provide her with an environment where Jersey could feel comfortable. Not to worry, this little charmer wiggled all 31 pounds of her magic into her foster family's hearts and she's there to stay. Her doggie brother no longer gets a moment of peace now that he has a little sister at his heels, but we secretly know that he loves her! Check out Jersey's Happy Tail.

There are many more Happy Tails in the works, so keep an eye on the Happy Tails section of our website. Nothing better to brighten a day than to read the story of a life saved (especially if it's your pup!). We want to continue sharing the celebrations in our world with you because you are a large part of what allows us to do so.

Our Current Adoptabulls

Killian Marci Rascal Santa's Helper Addanted

Killian's story is very similar to Payton's. His dad was getting married and Killian wasn't asked to be a part of their new life. Killian was with his owner for over five years, but he played second fiddle to a marriage in the making. That's okay, we know what a catch Killian is and continue to lavish him with love and attention until his forever family finds him. Please check check out Killian's story.

Rascal was on doggie death row over a year ago. When asked to give him a chance and meet him, we couldn't leave him to die. Rascal went into a home where we thought he would stay forever, but a year later found Rascal back with us. His owner was no longer in a position to properly care for Rascal, and because our commitment to our dogs is for a lifetime, we rescued this boy a 2nd time. Please check check out Rascal's story.

Santa's Little Helper is just around 1 year old, a small 35 pounds and is currently living in a kennel. His owner, who pulled him off of doggie death row, could no longer keep him. He LOVES to play with other dogs and spends his days in doggie play groups where he is quickly learning doggie ediquette and manners from his playmates. Even if just to Foster, maybe Santa's Little Helper was meant to be a part of your family? Please check check out Santa's Little Helper's story.

Marci has been with us for over two years now, and although she has been patient, this little girl deserves a family of her very own. She is absolutely stunning and is sure to keep you laughing! Please check out Marci's story.

And don't forget to check out all of our other Adoptabulls!
