Indy Goes to Hollywood

Thanks to all who voted for Indy in the a Rally to Rescue "Doing More for Pets" Story Contest.

Out of all the great rescue stories from coast to coast, we made the top 10! And what a story...Indy is the pup who was tossed from a moving car as a puppy, only to find his forever home with the Bedards, an amazing family with three developmentally disabled kids.

As a result, Indy--escorted by two Midwest Rescue volunteers--earned a trip to Hollywood!

What an adventure: Indy flew on an airplane...yes in the cabin (thanks to the wonderful Midwest Airlines). He stayed in the luxurious Hotel Sofitel. And he even got a hug from celebrity Emily Proctor, star of CSI Miami and Rally to Rescue spokeswoman.

No, we didn't take first prize in the end. But that doesn't detract from Indy's magnificent tale! He's #1 with us...and with the his amazing family, the Bedards.
