Nina's Happy Tail

We have had our dog Max for 15½ years and we weren't planning on getting another dog, especially a Pit. I was a little intimidated by Pits - that was until we met Nina!

Nina was one of eight puppies brought to Midwest Rescue. One day we were visiting our friend who was fostering Nina. When we saw her, we fell in love with her!

She was having so much fun playing with the bigger dogs and the best part was how well she was playing with our son.

I went home and told my husband about her and the next thing I knew, I was completing the adoption application on line.

Maya came over to visit…and never left. We are happy to say that Max and Nina, as we call her, get along very well. She has brought a little spirit back into Max.

She has also brought our family to a new closeness. We take family walks with the dogs. The best part is that my son has become more responsible and helps take care of both dogs. She is a great addition to the family - with her great temperament and just the cutest face. We are so happy to have her as a part of our family.
