I have always been a huge pit-bull advocate, so naturally when my last one passed away a year ago, I started looking for a new one.

I was contemplating purchasing a blue nose from a breeder, but a friend suggested that I consider adopting one instead.

This is where Midwest Rescue of Illinois came into play! After patiently waiting, a blue nose female around 2 years old finally came into the rescue.

The day I met Xena I knew that she was the perfect match for me, and was everything I was looking for in a dog!

She's built show quality and is completely trained. I couldn't have asked for a better dog, and I'm glad that I adopted instead of going through a breeder. Xena has become a wonderful addition to my daily life.
